The back six were cast by Thomas Rudhall of Gloucester in 1769 and the two trebles by John Taylor & Co. of Loughborough in 1947.

Unusually, the tower is octagonal for its full height. Access to the ringing room is by means of a short wooden staircase from the ground floor vestry. Parking is available in Church Road leading to Hodnet Hall Gardens.  The Village Store in the same road provides hot and cold refreshments. There is also a newsagent and 'The Bear' is usually reliable for food, but would probably be more suited to an evening celebration meal than a typical ringers' lunch.
