Access to the centrally heated ringing room is via an external door between the tower and the boiler house, which leads to a short stone staircase.

The church is a ten minute walk from the railway station on the Shrewsbury-Wolverhampton line. Rather closer are the various facilities of the village including a pub opposite the church and a shop and cafe about four hundred yards away. Public toilets may be available in the parish hall. Those who cannot face any more ringing may find a pleasant walk into woodland along a path past the pool at the rear of the church.

Nearby is the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford.  http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/cosford/index.cfm
